Summer 2024 Softball

Dates/Times: Most games will be played on Sunday afternoons between 11:00AM - 5:00PM. Games are 50 minutes each. *Some games may be played on Saturdays due to field conflicts or weather. Please check the schedule to be sure of dates.*

Facility:  - Chuck Klein Sports Complex 4702 Rockville Rd. Indianapolis, IN

Registration Cost: $45 per player. The league is open to all and those in need of an equitable registration option can email us for more information. 

Registration Information: Registration for the Summer 2024 league begins on Sunday April 28, 2024 to Sunday, May 12, 2024; or when the league is full.

• A team is formed when at least 12 players register. Each team may have up to 20 players. Any team that does not have the required 12 registered players when registration closes will revert to incorporating free agents until the number reaches the minimum. We will do our best to keep groups together in the case that a minimum 12 players is not met.  All teams under 20 rostered players are subject to receive free agents assigned by the Softball Commissioner.
• Captains: If you plan on being the captain of a team, you will need to register first, create the correct team and team name and then have players register under your team's name. An email will be sent once you have signed up with additional team information and responsibilities as a captain. Captains and Co-Captains are also required to attend a mandatory Captain meeting (details to follow). If neither the captain nor the co-captain are able to attend, they must provide a representative in their place.
• Players:
  • I plan to create a team: If you plan to create a team you will need to register as a team captain (see above). Then you can tell your friends to register as a team player and join your team. To become an official team, you must register 12 players.
  • I plan to join a team: If you already know which team you are going to play on, you will need to register as a team player. Keep in mind that you can't randomly join any team; captains may ask that a player be removed from their team prior to the close of registration.
  • I want to play but I don't have a team: That's fantastic! This league is about making new friends. Register as a free agent, or if you have a small group of friends, create a "small group" and we will do our best to place you all together!

• Divisions: 
  • Captains must indicate their team's desired level of play either competitive or recreational/beginner. 
    
  • All participants, including free agents and small groups will also be asked to indicate their desired level of play to ensure that they are matched to the most appropriate teams. 
  • Divisions will compete separately. 

Zero Tolerance Policy: Stonewall Sports Indianapolis has zero tolerance of any bullying or harassment of any kind and for any reason of any player, captain, referee, official, participant, sponsor, director, officer or spectator. Harassment can be verbal, physical or visual, and includes all unwelcome conduct that affects someone else. The Stonewall Sports Indianapolis Board of Directors has an open-door policy and welcomes you to report any conduct by any player, captain, referee, official, participant, sponsor, director, officer, or spectator that makes you feel uncomfortable. The Board of Directors takes all allegations and reports seriously and will thoroughly investigate all claims, and if warranted, will take all appropriate action.

Registration Fees: The $45 player registration fee pays for standard jerseys, field permits, liability insurance, processing fees, Stonewall Sports National organization fees, sports equipment, professional photographers, and other expenses that make Stonewall Softball an exciting and fun experience for all! If you plan to order custom jerseys either through our local vendor, TACTIVE, or your own vendor, we can provide you with detailed guidelines for jerseys.
