Andrew Merkley

Andrew Merkley (he/him/his)

Andrew is a lifelong Hoosier, originally from Evansville, IN. Andrew moved to Indianapolis five years ago to pursue a career in public policy with the State of Indiana and continues to fight for the rights and quality of life for all Hoosiers, especially those in the LGBTQ+ community. Andrew played varsity basketball and football in high school, graduating from Indiana University - Bloomington. He remains committed to fitness, healthy activities and IU Basketball. Andrew and his husband, MJ, enjoy traveling, hosting, and working on their home. Andrew is excited for the opportunities that Stonewall Sports will bring to Central Indiana and the LGBTQ+ and ally community. 


Larry Stribling

Larry Stribling (he/him/his)
Vice President

Larry is a native of Chicago and a graduate of University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. Larry moved to Indianapolis in 2016 and found a home in Indy through engagements with the LGBTQ+ community non-profit organizations. Larry is a human resource professional with a passion for building relationships, team management, as well as fostering space for diversity and inclusion. Larry also serves an executive team member of the Board of Directors for Indy Pride. In Larry's spare time, he enjoys traveling, cooking, singing and spending time with loved ones. He is excited and hopeful for the impact Stonewall will have on the LGBTQ+ community within Indianapolis.


Tim Birky

Tim Birky (he/him/his)

Tim is a native of Valparaiso, IN and has called Indianapolis home since 2014 after relocating from Cleveland, Ohio. Tim is a REALTOR with the F.C. Tucker Company and specializes in downtown Indianapolis residential real estate. He previously served as the marketing leader for several companies based out of Indy including: Salesforce, Seven Corners, and more recently Viral Launch before launching his real estate career in 2018. A 2006 graduate of Purdue University West Lafayette, Tim has a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership & Supervision and an associate degree in Computer Information Technology. He believes in giving back and being engaged in your local community and lives this out through his service as a member of the Board of Directors for the Indiana 4-H Foundation, Indianapolis Men's Chorus, Chatham Arch Neighborhood Association and Mill 9 Phase 2 Homeowners Association. Tim is excited to welcome Stonewall Sports to the Indy LGBTQ+ community!


Skyler Nimmons (he/him/his)
Communications Director

Skyler is a native of South Carolina, moved to Indy in 2014 and fell in love with the city. Nimmons is a public relations, communications, and event professional with a background of working with non-profit and religious organizations. He currently leads business relations for a strategic sourcing and importing solutions company, as well as runs a boutique consulting firm. In his free time he enjoys hanging out with friends, cooking, fitness, movies and exploring new things. He is excited about all that Stonewall will bring to Indy as he has seen it thrive in other cities. 


Grant Sikes

Dr. Grant Sikes (he/him/his)
Technical Director

Grant is a native of West Palm Beach, Florida, moved to Indianapolis in October of 2016. He graduated from Auburn University in 2005 and from Life University in 2011 with a Doctorate in Chiropractic. After opening and running a successful practice in Charlotte, NC, where he was an active member of Stonewall Sports, he sold his practice to take a partnership role with a colleague in Indy. Upon hearing that Stonewall had the potential to come to the Circle City he offered his experience as a player to help Stonewall Sports thrive in Indianapolis.


Jake Elliott

Jake Elliott (he/him/his)
Events Director

Jake is a native Hoosier and has lived in Indiana since birth. He relocated to Indianapolis in 2011 from Fowler, the land of windmills. Jake is a Training Specialist and Registered Behavior Technician in Applied Behavior Analysis at The Hope Source and Dynamic Minds Academy, a center/school for students with ASD. Jake found his passion for the field in his sophomore year at Purdue where he graduated with a degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences. Jake married his husband, Aaron, in August 2018, and together, they enjoy spending time with friends and family, catering and event planning, and exploring Indianapolis' restaurant scene. He is enthusiastic to be a part of Stonewall Sports and to be able to help facilitate networking opportunities for the LGBTQ+ community.
